Who is Mihai Hogaș, The Pizza Man?
Mihai Hogaș, the founder of Emerald Pizza Academy, is a professional with more than 25 years of experience in the field. He has passed through all levels: Pizza maker in Iași, his hometown in Romania, then spent decades in Italy, graduated from recognised courses such as the Pizzaioli Academy, became a quality evaluator and trainer in the same academy, opened pizza departments in dozens of restaurants. He managed 10 pizza departments and 27 pizza chefs. He also developed an efficient work system based on using the same pizza dough recipe, local ingredients and the Happy Work Place concept. He knows what it is like to work in small restaurants, but also in those where he had to lead teams capable of delivering 1000 pizzas a day in a place that had over 100 types of pizza on the menu.
